Recommended Itinerary
Please plan and enjoy your trip how you’d like!
We are currently finalizing events from Wednesday September 3rd, until the wedding day, so please plan your travels accordingly.
If you need some assistance or ideas, here are two recommended itineraries:
1. Short Trip Itinerary:
Arrival in Athens: September 2nd, 2025
- Day 1 (September 2nd): Arrival in Athens & Travel to Arkadia
- Morning: Arrive at Athens International Airport.
- Early Afternoon: Pick up your rental car or take a bus/taxi to Nafplio (if you choose to stay here) for a 2-hour drive.
- Late Afternoon: Check into your hotel in Nafplio.
- Evening: Explore Nafplio, visit Syntagma Square, and take in the view of the Bourtzi Fortress.
- Day 2 (September 3rd): Explore Nafplio
- Morning: Visit the Palamidi Fortress for panoramic views and historical insight.
- Afternoon: Visit Bourtzi Castle, accessible by a short boat ride from the harbor.
- Transportation provided by buses for guests to the event and back to Nafplio.7:00 PM: Attend the Welcome Dinner near Levidi.

- Day 3 (September 4th): Explore Nafplio
- Spend a leisurely day at Nafplio’s beaches, enjoying the Mediterranean sun, with Tommy and Helena
- Alternatively, take a day trip to Ancient Olympia, a historical site known for the ancient Olympic Games.
- Optional: Explore nearby islands via ferry, including Spetses.
- Return to Nafplio for the night.
- Day 4 (September 5th): Travel to Levidi for the Wedding
- Morning: Check out from Nafplio and make your way to Levidi, Vytina or Manna.
- Settle into your new accommodations in the village.
- Things to do Around Levidi:
- Explore the Kapsia Caves located within miles of Levidi.
- Explore the quant village of Vytina, where their vanilla honey was voted second best honey in the world.
- 7:00 PM: Attend the Bed Making Ceremony, a special tradition to prepare for the upcoming wedding, in Levidi.
- Day 5 (September 6th):Wedding Day in Levidi
- 5:30 PM: Wedding ceremony takes place in Levidi.
- Buses will provide transportation to and from the venue:
- From Vytina to the church.
- From Levidi to Manna for the celebration, and back.
- Day 6 (September 7th): Travel Back to Athens
- Morning: After breakfast, drive back to Athens (around 2 hours).
- Afternoon: Explore Athens briefly if you have time before your flight, or head straight to Athens International Airport for your flight home.
- Evening: Departure.
2. 7-Day Itinerary for Athens & Peloponnese, Greece Itinerary:
Arrival in Athens: Saturday, August 30th, 2025
- Day 1 (August 30th): Arrival in Athens
- Arrive in Athens and settle into your accommodation.
- Spend the afternoon exploring some of Athens’ iconic landmarks.
- Visit the Parthenon and Acropolis Museum.
- Stroll around Monastiraki Square for shopping and delicious local food.
- Explore the Temple of Zeus and Panathenaic Stadium.
- Day 2 (August 31st): Full Day in Athens
- Continue exploring Athens.
- Visit the National Archaeological Museum to see ancient treasures.
- If time allows, explore the vibrant Plaka neighborhood or the Anafiotika area for charming streets.
- Optional Day Trips (consider adding one of these excursions):
- Delphi – A UNESCO World Heritage site with rich history and scenic views.
- Hydra Island – A beautiful, car-free island with cobblestone streets and crystal-clear waters.
- Temple of Poseidon in Sounion – A majestic cliffside temple overlooking the sea.
- Continue exploring Athens.
- Day 3 (September 1st): Athens to Nafplio
- Morning: Depart from Athens and drive to Corinth.
- Stop at The Corinth Canal for a quick view of this engineering marvel.
- Explore Ancient Corinth, home to ancient ruins including the Temple of Apollo.
- Lunch: Enjoy a seaside meal at Takis in Lecheo, a local fish restaurant known for its fresh seafood and beachside location.
- After lunch, continue on to Ancient Mycenae to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site with its rich archaeological history.
- Evening: Continue to Nafplio and check into your accommodation.
- Morning: Depart from Athens and drive to Corinth.
- Day 4 (September 2nd): Exploring Nafplio
- Spend the day soaking up the charm of Nafplio. Relax on its beaches or explore its picturesque streets.
- Optional Ancient Sites to Visit:
- Ancient Epidaurus – Famous for its impressive theater and its status as a healing center in antiquity and considered to be the birth place of the Hippocratic Oath.
- Ancient Nemea – Known for its archaeological ruins and the ancient athletic games held here. This is located near to the Nemea Wine Region which is beautiful to explore.
- Return to Nafplio for dinner and an evening stroll by the seafront.
- Day 5 (September 3rd): Wedding Welcome Dinner
- Relax in Nafplio or visit any remaining sites you’d like to explore.
- 7:00 PM: Attend the Welcome Dinner near Levidi.
- Transportation provided by buses for guests to the event and back to Nafplio.

- Day 6 (September 4th): Beach Day in Nafplio or Explore Nearby Sights

- Departure: Guests returning to Athens will head back for their flights.
- Extended Stay Options:
- From Kyllini, consider visiting Zakynthos, Kefalonia, or Corfu. This is 2.5 hour drive from Levidi. You can take your car on the ferry for easy travel between these islands.
After you would be taken back to Kyllini and drive back to Athens when leaving. - From Athens, explore the Cyclades Islands, including Santorini, Naxos, Milos, Syros, or Ios. Again, consider ferrying your car for island exploration.
- From Kyllini, consider visiting Zakynthos, Kefalonia, or Corfu. This is 2.5 hour drive from Levidi. You can take your car on the ferry for easy travel between these islands.
The Bride and Groom will be in Greece from Saturday, August 30th until Monday, September 8th 2025. We will let you know more details once we finalize them!
